Dolfino equipment?

I’ll be taking a scuba course this fall through my college and am looking for scuba equipment. I came across an ad online, selling some dolfino fins, mask, and snorkel. Will these be okay to work with? As far as I know, most of the diving will be in a pool, and I won’t be in teh ocean anytime soon. Mostly just lakes. So will these be okay or should I get a better pair? By the way, I’m a college student so I can’t go all out with brand new stuff for it…
